I spent days trying to do an Online Application at Walmart.com
See my story Here
Walmart uses Kenexa as their Online Application solution.
I then went to Lowes.com to experience filling out an Online Application there.
As soon as I discovered that Kenexa is the online Application Solution that Lowes uses and once the site FAILED clicking next after entering in my phone numbers, I just gave up applying at Lowes all together.
I then did some more research – According to Kenexa’s Media page the following companies are clients.

If you are applying for jobs at any of these company sites, look at the URL you get redirected. If it is “sjobs.brassring.com“, I am sure it will be a painful task (as of this writing -5/1/2012). I know that GE and McDonalds do not use this service because I tested these sites.
If you are redirected to sjobs.brassring.com, expect lots of FAILURE due to time out issues.
Good luck to anyone willing to take the time and deal with the stress of applying online thru sjobs.brassring.com.
I do not recommend you go thru the pain.
Of course, it is possible that Kenexa is dilligently working on solving the performance problems of this site. I hope so. Any business using this solution to get in contact with new quality employees will be disappointed. Many people will judge the company they are applying for by the tools they use to recruit and onboard.
Let us know what experiences you have with online applications.
